Description:
Up for is this gorgeous 100+ year old Winchester Model 1912 (12) chambered in 16 GA for use with 2-3/4" shells. Has a 26 inch barrel with a vent rib that was professionally installed by Simmons Gun Works who also did the beautiful refinishing of the firearm. Fixed factory full choke. This shotgun has gorgeous wood on it with straight stock instead of the usual pistol grip style. The wood is beautifully checkered and finished with little to no visible handling marks. Length of pull to the Winchester butt plate is about 14 inches. This shotgun works excellent and is in excellent shape overall with a nice smooth and tight action. Has an excellent looking shiny bore as well. The front bead is a hi-viz orange fiber optic which is very easy to see. The reblued finish on this shotgun looks near mint with only faint signs of handling. What is hard to believe about this shotgun is that it was built in 1916 and is still this solid, even though it has been refinished and had nicer wood installed. The serial numbers of the barrel and receiver also match. Overall this is just an amazing classic Winchester that would make a fine addition to any collection!
