Description:
Up for sale we have this gorgeous original Belgium Made Browning A5 "Magnum" semi-auto shotgun that was built in 1961. This is an original Magnum A5 chambered for 3" shells. Has a "1V" prefix on the serial number. Comes in an original Browning case cut out to fit the shotgun and 2 barrels (only comes with one barrel). Also comes with the original owners manual, warranty booklet, and a very cool Richvale Hunting Area round paper badge from 1966. The friction rings pictured are all installed on the gun now. The vent-rib barrel is 32 inches overall including the Deluxe Poly-Choke which allows you to adjust the choke restriction on-the-fly. The barrel is 30 inches without the Poly-Choke. Overall this shotgun is in great shape and works excellent! The original bluing looks excellent especially considering the age. There is some light thinning and light scratches but overall I would still say that the finish is 85% or better. The wood has some handling marks but is in great sound shape overall. Length of pull is about 14 inches to the back of the "Browning" made rubber butt pad. This is just a very cool classic collectible shotgun that needs a good home. This was the first commercially produced shotgun made. It was designed by the genius John Browning known for the 1911, Winchester lever actions, and many more famous firearms.
