Description: REDUCED Inv. 7500 Remington "UMC" * 1911, Cal. 45ACP, Ser. 10327, Mfg. 1918. Unfired. The "SINGER" of WWI, only 21,677 ever manufactured. This officer's "Cabinet Queen" has unbelievable condition, considering that the "UMC" had a horrible reputation for blue surface flaking. This one has retained about 85+% of the original blue. The bulk of the loss is on front grip strap, the balnce is from some very slight sharp edge silvering. There is no rust, pin prics or scratches anywhere. There is one tiny rub mark on the left side of the slide from the frame. This was caused by inspecting the chamber I suspect. There is no evidence anywhere that this gun has ever been firred after it was iisued. All parts match and are proper for the gun. The left side of the frame has the correct EEG inspectors mark and the up turned Eagle Proof. The top of the barrel has the proper P proof. The grip panels are the correct double diamond style with the proper 13 points between the diamonds. They have no splits or dings. The grip screws are also perfect. The slide rails, feed ramp, bolt face show no evidence of use. The original REM-UMC barrel is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling and retains all of the original factory blue. This "Cabinet Queen" comes with one proper pinned base two tone magazine, which also shows no sign of use. For the extremely critical collector/investor, who would be hard pressed to find a finer example any where near this price. It comes with our usual 100% "Purchase Satisfaction Guarantee"........SHIPPED.... $8,750.. * Union Matallic Cartridge Comp. New Haven, CT. not Reminghton Rand of Syracuse, NY.
