Description:
This is a NEW model 70 Ultimate Shadow, chambered in 30-06 Springfield.
Please Note: Altough there appears to be some handling scuffs, on the stock, this is a new rifle. They are not as bad as they appear, in the photos. This is prety common, on plastic stocks. Be sure to click on the ZOOM option, for bright close up photos.
It has a 24" Sporter contour, stainless barrel, & stainless action. It is Controlled Round Feed, with a non-glare matte stainless claw. This is the Ultimate Shadow stock. It has the Winzorb recoil pad, which is one of the best recoil pads; ever made (right in there with Kick-Eez). It also has a 1 piece trigger guard/floor plate, & hex head bottom metal screws, from the factory.
With the soft rubber over-molding, around the forearm, you can get a good grip, on the Ultimate Shadow stock, in cold, & wet weather. Even if you have an icey glove on your hand. And they are unequaled, for, going in, & out, of a scabbard. Including; scabbards, with no lining.
The barrel has been cleaned, & bore scoped. It is spotlessly clean, & looks good. No rust, no pitting. The throat, & the lead-in, on the lands; are pretty smooth, no glaring tool marks.
