1402 Sale Pending HOLLAND AND HOLLAND ROOK RIFLE New Price lowered from $2450
Cased H&H rook rifle. This is a side-lever, center fire marked 380CF which is the same as the .38 short Colt which a box of 50 is included in the sale but must be shipped ground. The rifle has a 27 1/2 inches (or 70CenteMeter) octagon barrel with a straight stock. The case was hand made for this H&H "Rook" with H&H label. The stock is original with some dings and a couple deep scratches, the barrel and action appear to be untouched and all stamps and edges are perfect. The bore is fair - strong rifling but dark lands with light pitting. The action is completely tight and screws are good with one being replaced. The stock is beautiful old dark walnut with fine checkering that is still strong, the engraving is moderate but typical H & H quality. This gun is priced right for a quality sidelock with wood case for $1950.00 plus shipping and the gun and case weigh 14.1 # plus packing so must have $65.00 for shipping.
