Special order half octagon barrel, built in 1883. This is an antique.

Manufacturer: 1883 date of manufacture, antique.
Caliber Info: .38-40 Winchester
Chambers: Lever action ten round tubular magazine
Metal Condition: Good, bluing has faded on the barrel and in places on the receiver.
Wood Condition: Good, one fair sized bruise on the right side of the stock.
Bore Condition: Good, some pitting and wear on the lands.
Barrels: 26 inch half octagonal half round blued barrel.
Triggers: Single stage trigger, no safety.
Stock: Smooth, straight, English style wooden stock.
Stock Dimensions:
12 7/8 inch length of pull.
Fore End: Smooth wooden fore-end matching the stock.
Butt Pad: Steel contoured butt pad.
Weight: 8 1/4 pounds.
Sights: Blade front sight, semi buck horn rear, adjustable for elevation.
