Here is a very early Remington model 700, in fact from the serial number, one of the first model 700's in the 375 H&H caliber to ever be produced and modified, I believe, in their custom shop for an adult lady.
Barrel has been shortened to 24 inch and muzzle break cut into forend and stock has been cut for a smaller shooter. Barrel is also glass bedded from custom shop. Length of pull is 13".
Rilfe has a griffin & Howe side detachable scope mount with a B.NICKEL & MARBURG/L variable 1-4x German scope.
Rifle went to Africa 3 times so has signs of field use, blueing is fair, bore is excellent, wood is very good, Action functions and feeds as a Remington should.
