#513941, Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 in 270 Winchester Made in 1961, 24" barrel, Folding rear sight, Factory front sight hood, Standard 3 position safety, Standard Model 70 hinged floorplate, Monte carlo comb, Standard point pattern checkering, Sling eyes & swivels, 13 5/8" LOP over a factory composite buttplate, 7 lbs. 15 oz., The original barrel blue is 98%, The receiver blue is 98%, The floorplate & trigger guard is 97%, The bolt knob is 92%, The original wood finish at 92% with scattered light handling marks, The checkering is 99%, The bore is absolutely excellent plus and like new. It was hauled around some, but I don't believe it was ever shot a great deal. An excellent example of a late Pre-64 Model 70.
