Description:
This rifle was an attempt by the Brazilian government to decrease its dependency on the European arms manufacturers. It was produced at the arms plant at Itajuba and is an updated and modernized version of the Model 1908 short rifle. Parts of this rifle upper-band and bolt correctly appear to have been procured from the M1908. The bolt has a bent handle and is serial numbered to the rest of the rifle. The arsenal simply used what they could from their inventory. This gun is about as new as you will find in this model It retains 98% of its bluing. The bore, action and mechanically rate Excellent.
