Colt 1851 Navy .36 Caliber Revolver. Manufactured 1863. Bore is near excellent. Very strong rifling and bright grooves. Action works perfectly. Cylinder scene is very good and visible with detail features. Battle scenes with ships etc. Grips are mellow old ivories that look really good. They are a bit undersize and probably were from another Colt Navy. Left side grip has an old crack that is completely stable. Serial numbers match except wedge. Rammer is unserialized as is often found on both Navies and 1849 Pocket models. This revolver has a very pleasing patina. Overall a fine old Navy with super eye appeal.
