Description:
This early 19th Century 62Cal Albanian “Rat Tail” flintlock pistol with a Miquelet lock has a 13-1/2” heavily patinaed octagon to round tapered smooth bore barrel. The bore has deep pitting. The entire wooden stock is wrapped in heavily engraved brass plates that are secured with tiny brass tacks. The Miquelet flintlock is in good working order and is activated by a single trigger. This pistol is in overall fair condition with usage dents, dings, a missing piece in the brass plating around the lock plate and several cracks and folds around the side plate and the forend plating. Please note: This pistol is being sold AS-IS. Comes with steel ramrod. The overall length is 20-1/4”, weight is 2 lbs. Will ship anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
