French Gentleman's Flintlock Pistol marked Le Grande Belle Isle on heavily engraved lockplate with drummer boy holding an arrow, pan is engraved, engraved gooseneck cock, engraved frizzen, has a unique safety on lockplate for cock, engraved trigger guard, engraved ramrod thimble, missing ramrod, stock tip behind thimble is missing, brass or gold inlay on barrel with Le Grande Belle Isle along the top of the barrel, nicely figured walnut stock with crack across the grip, 6.25 inch barrel, 12.5 inches overall length, engraved soldier's head on butt cap, .59cal? (measures .530). Two stage action works as it should, circa 1750 - 1760
