French Model 1822, .69 caliber round barrel, octagonal at the breach and 7 3/4 inches long, overall length is 13 3/4 inches, serial number 483, tang marked "Mle 1822 T Bis", breach marked "C de 17.6A", converted from flintlock to percussion in 1854, lockplate marked "Mre. Rle de Tulle", marked Tulle on walnut matching numbered stock, checkered hammer, fixed front and rear sights, arsenal proofs on brass, iron and wood throughout, complete with matching serial numbered iron tulip end ramrod, lanyard ring, single stage action is in good working order.
