Description:
Courtney & Tennant Confederate Naval Cutlass. Mfd by Robert Mole & Son's of Birmingham, England, and imported by Courtney & Tennant of Charleston, South Carolina. The cutlass has a double edged, 19 1/2" wasp wristed blade with single fuller. The obverse ricasso is stamped; "COURTNEY & TENNANT/CHARLESTON, S.C." is a rectange. "MOLE" is stamped on the back of the blade. No scabbard.
