Remington 1861 Navy Factory Conversion to Cartridge. US Military inspector mark on both barrel and frame, “B” Inspector initial. Bore is bright and excellent. Action works perfectly, gun has approximately 50 to 60% blue. Frame has some blue in protected areas so cylinder and barrel have blue. This is a factory conversion with the factory conversion plate mounted on the breech face, NOT a gunsmith conversion. Grips have later varnish. Note: Casting flaw on left side of frame just behind the conversion plate.
