Description:
Perazzi MX8 SCO extra presentation shotgun. Rare deep chisello engraving by master engraver Angelo Galeazzi and is considered a best work. The firearm is new and in unfired condition. It is in the Perazzi Shotguns book by Karl Lippard on page 67, this shotgun was made together with another serial number 87193 for Lucio Sosta , later to become the general manager of Perazzi, and his son Francesco. The buttstock is SCO extra grade with a black pad over a 14 1/4" pull length. The dimensions are 1 3/4 x 1 5/16 with 1/8 cast off. Perfect marble black vein figured Circassian walnut hand picked by Daniele Perazzi personally in Turkey. The barrel is an "L" quality or best quality barrel and measures 29 1/2" choked Improved Modified and Full. This shotgun was over 100K with a 30K engraving premium added. This would surely be the cornerstone of any gun collection and is considered to be the finest or one of the finest Perazzi shotguns ever made. Appraisal By Karl Lippard furnished upon request.
