You don't see one of these every day! A 20 bore Westley Richards Fauneta. Serial number T4546 circa 1905. As you can see by the photos, the gun has seen a lot of use (and travel no doubt) but it works perfectly and the gun locks up like a safe. The barrels are pitted but very sound and thick (it was proofed for cordite). They have been cut to 25 inches so they no longer retain the rifling. However, I have shot slugs through the old girl just for fun and ever at 6 lbs it felt like a double rifle! Would make an amazing grouse gun and double as a close range deer rifle.
