Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful example of an Indian Arsenal Enfield rifle chambered in 7.52x51 NATO. This gun was converted to .308 in 1967 given the date stamp on the grip band. As stated condition is excellent, there are a few small imperfections in the wood commonly seen with military rifles, blue finish is excellent with only some minor handling wear but no rust. The original buttplate is in great condition and fits snugly against the buttstock. The bore on this gun is spectacular given its age. Rifling is strong and crisp and the walls have a mirror like shine ensuring this gun can shoot all day and then some. Original number matched 800 Meter ladder sight is in great condition and complete. Bolt is smooth and the action operates perfectly. These Enfields are a wonderful way to own a nice SHILE rifle, but in a more reasonable to shoot caliber. Click that buy now button and bring it home.
