Description:
Inv. 7496
Smith  & Wesson U.S. Mdl. 1917 Cal. .45 acp, (S & W Ser. 60942), Mfg. 1918.

Awesome condition for this 100 year old "Arsenal  Queen".  The gun retains about 97-98% of the original factory blue. The little loss there is, is from sharp edge silvering, the usual cylinder hairline drag ring and some scattered pin pricks. The hammer and trigger have strong evidence of the original case colors, The grip straps do not show the slightest trace of toning. The left side of the frame has the Flaming Bomb Ordinance stamp and the trigger guard has the inspector's Upturned Eagle. All numbers match. The walnut grips are minty retaining about 98% of the original lacquer.

The bottom of the grips on either side of the lanyard ring is marked, U.S. Model 1917, Ser. 98245. The cylinder face, recoil shield and force cone show only slight use. The bore is pristine like the rest of the gun. Sunshine bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a trace of frost anywhere. This little Arsenal Queen is a fine investment, a great addition to any collection would good be a real head turner at the range. It comes with our "Purchase Satisfaction Guarantee" only.......SHIPPED.......$1675.
