Description:
Serial #22419, .22 LR, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a half-stock rifle with correct, but mis-matched bolt that retains about 30-40% of the original blue, mostly on the receiver and breech-end of the barrel, while the balance has turned to a mottled pewter gray patina; especially ahead of the rear sight base. There is some mild pinprick pitting at the muzzle, and there is further pitting on the bolt knob, although some of the original bright, fire blue remains on the extractor. The walnut stock with finger-groove forend and pistol-grip, has scattered minor handling marks and small surface blemishes throughout, as well as a chip and small hairline crack in the wood at the toe of the butt. This is a nice KKW type rifle, and is in good-near very good condition overall. FFL or C&R
