Description:
Originally manufactured in 1894 this handsome Winchester has been professionally restored in original Winchester quality and finish into a BIG 50 Express rifle. The new 26" octagon barrel has all the correct Winchester stamps and a mint bore. Other features include a full magazine, dove tailed front sight, buckhorn rear sporting sight, walnut stocks with rifle butt, and rust-blue barrel and tube with beautiful bone case colors on frame, lever, hammer and butt plate. The colors on this firearm are brilliant with a rainbow hue. The stocks are near mint condition with a couple of small dings on the right side of the stock (see photos). The rust-blue barrel and tube show just a few handling marks. This rifle appears to be almost new just as it would have originally looked as displayed in a hardware store in 1894. This would be a showpiece in any collection and the quality of the workmanship is exceptional.
