Description:
This is a standard Winchester Model 1886 Rifle manufactured in 1893 that features a full 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, lyman front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, case color frame, walnut stocks with steel rifle butt plate. The barrel has sharp edges and ledgends with about 75% blue finish mixing with patina. The tube has plumed out and the frame has no color remaining. The stocks have been refinished and the butt stock is shy of the metal tang. The action works well. Rifling is sharp with some small black powder abrasion.
