SALE PENDING on this Lyman 1878 Sharps Single Shot rifle in .45-70 Govt. caliber. This rifle was made by Pedersoli in Italy.The barrel is a heavy 30" blued with interchangeable Globe Front Sight with a Lyman Peep Sight mounted on the rear receiver tang.The receiver is Stainless Steel.The rifle also has a set trigger. The wood is a select walnut with press checkering and ebony forend tip.The rear stock has a pistol grip and Stainless Steel butt plate.The rifling is superb with deep grooves and shiny lands.The rifle is in near Mint Condition with a over-all rating of 98.9%. I see several minor dings on the wood and a small scratch on the muzzle from adjusting the front sight.This rifle is Super Nice and you will not be disappointed. The original box and owners manual is also included. The buyer pays the actual cost of Shipping and Insurance.
