SALE PENDING. Here is a high condition W&C Scott "Special Grade" Hammer 12 gauge made 1878. Outstanding mirror bores and 30" barrels measuring .720. Cylinder chokes (pre-dates choke boring). Game scene and scroll engraving. Elegant Scott Patent forend latch. Gun is tight on face and locks up like well oiled vault. No loose ribs. No cracks to wood. Rebounding hammers. Weight of gun is 8 LBS 3/8 OZ. Shipping is $40. Notice "Special Grade" designation on the top rib (last photo). As an antique this gun can be shipped directly as local law allows.
