Description:
This is a Post War field grade Model 42 chambered for 410 bore with 3" chamber and full choke. Simmons ribbed barrel measures 28". Other standard field grade features include half magazine, take-down, blue finish, plain pistol grip walnut stock with Winchester logo black composite butt plate and flat based grooved fore-end. The fore-arm has a knick in the wood close to the barrel. Barrel retains 95% finish with Simmons marked rib. The bolt is jeweled. Stocks are in good shape with light impressions. The butt plate is a period correct replacement. Bore and action are fine.
