This Winchester shotgun was produced in 1890. The shotgun's serial number is 25788. It has the 30 inch 12 gauge barrel. The magazine retainer is the early style. The forend slabs are retained by one screw. The assembly numbers are matching. The color cased reciever has vivid color finish. The left side of the reciever retains almost all of the color cased finish. The left side would rate a 96% overall. The right side of the reciever retains almost all of the faded color cased finish. There are areas of strong color finish on the top area. The right side would rate a 88% faded overall condition. The lever and breech retain most of the vivid color cased finish. The bore is bright and clean. The barrel and magazine retain 98% of the original bluing. The wood retain the original finish. There is no damage to the stock or forend slabs. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. This is a very fine collector grade shotgun with strong color cased finish.
