Beautiful one of a kind Merkel Model 47E 20 gauge SXS shotgun. This shotgun was special ordered approximately 6 years ago for a local customer who requested upgraded Deluxe 147EL wood and 30" barrels. The 3" chambered 30" barrels were leftover from Merkel's Sporting Clays Model that is no longer offered. This Merkel features a straight grip, double triggers, ejectors, and is choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. This gun is in spectacular condition and could pass for new. The prior owner stated that he had fired less than 100 rounds through it since new and it shows virtually no wear and locks up extremely tight. This is a very unique and attractive shotgun that would be at home hunting pheasants or shooting sporting clays. This shotgun retailed for over 7k, making it a great bargain at this price. Includes original box.
