Description:
Here is a high condition Gebruder Damm with elegant Germanic leaf, vine and game scene engraving including gold barrel bands. The 31" damascus barrels are in outstanding condition with mirror bores and no pitting. Right barrel measures .667, while the left is at .668. Cylinder chokes as the gun pre-dates choke boring. Chambers are 2 1/2". Gun is on face. No cracks to wood. No loose ribs. There is a small filler at toe of stock, not really visable (see last photo). Horn and metal trigger guard. Extractors of course. Rebounding hammers. This gun has Belgian Proof Marks which indicates that it was made in the white in Belgium and finished in Germany. Weight of gun is 6 LBS 9 7/8 OZ. Shipping is $40. As an antique this gun can be shipped directly as local law allows. Stock dimensions follow.
