SOLD Pending Funds / Colt Model 1911 Semi Auto Pistol, manufactured in 1918, serial # 337xx4, cal. 45 A.C.P., has the correct 5" Type 4 barrel with "H" & "P" stamped on the barrel along with a good bore with some scattered peppery pitting strong rifling but nothing I'd considered alarming, the pistol retains about 50%+ blue brown finish turning to patina with the front and rear grip straps graying. Pistol has Eagle "S11" proofs with "H" acceptance mark on slide. The Hammer is long, wide spur and checkered, grip safety, mainspring housing, thumb safety, slide stop, trigger, magazine catch (mag catch screw is damaged) and barrel bushing appear to be proper period. The Colt checkered wooden double diamond grips with minor flattening to the diamonds showing honest ware, comes with one blued magazine. The overall condition as described and photographed is good – good plus. Inv.: # 1-1369
