SOLD Pending Funds / Colt Model 1911 "Black Army" Semi Auto Pistol, manufactured in 1918, serial # 360105 , cal. 45 A.C.P., with a 5" correct Type 4 "P" & "H" stamped on the barrel with a very good plus plus bore, the pistol retains about 80%+ original finish turning to patina with the front grip strap graying and the rear strap starting to brown. Pistol has Eagle "S16" proofs with "H" acceptance mark on slide and frame (none on barrel hood), modified Type B Colt hammer, later Type C checkered thumb safety without milled undercut, good checkered wooden diamond grips with minor flattening to the diamonds showing honest wear, comes with one blued magazine. The overall condition as described and photographed is very good – very good plus. Inv. : # 1-1372
