*** SOLD *** High condition Coggy sideplated pigeon gun made post-1954. Great case coloring, recently reblacked barrels, nicely figured European walnut pistol grip stock, and in excellent mechanical condition. Serial number 70064. Has double triggers and ejectors. Very long flat-bottomed forearm(11-3/4”) for secure grip with heavy loads. Overall weight is 7lb 5oz making this a very nice handling double. *** The 28” nitro proofed barrels are topped by a solid concave game style rib and are chambered for 2-3/4” shotshells. The left barrel is bored 0.729 and has a constriction of 0.030 for Full choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.035. The right barrel is also bored 0.729 and has a constriction of 0.010 for Improved Cylinder choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.036. *** The highly figured pistol grip stock and flat-bottomed beavertail forearm have recently been refinished. Checkering is crisp. Stock dimensions are 14-7/8” over a ¾” pad by 1-7/16” by 1-7/8”. Cast off for the right hand shot. *** This gun has excellent handling characteristics and will perform well at clays, in the field, or on the rings. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection period and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described in the listing.
