Nice old octagonal barrel, crescent buttSavage Model 1899. Wood has darkened with age and shows normalhandling and use marks. Gun remains solid and functional. Original blue remains good with a few areas of blue loss and some light oxidation. Bore is lightly frosted with lands and grooves still visible. Wood has been drilled on forend and butt for sling swivel studs. .303 Savage
