HAFDASA Ballester-Molina Semi Auto Pistol, serial # 31168, cal. 45 A.C.P., The pistol has a 5" barrel, barrel lug stamped numbered 168 to this pistol with a fair plus bore with peppery pitting between the lands. Pistol retains 87% Matte blue finish finish with a plum hued plunger tube. These pistols were manufactured by Hispano Argentina Fábrica de Automóviles SA (HAFDASA) in Argentina from 1938–53, The vertical grooved hardwood grips rate very good with a one screw slightly buggered, has lanyard loop on butt, Fixed sights, magazine is Colt marked on base. The pistol is marked on the right side of the slide with the Argentinian Coat of Arms, and REPUBLICA ARGENTINA over ARMADA NACIONAL, and just below in the frame is a small importer stamp NHM CO. SAC. CA., The left side of the slide reads "Pistola Automatica CAL .45 Fabricada POR "HAFDASA" - Patentes Internacionales "Ballester - Molina - Industria Argentina". The overall condition as described and photographed is good plus – very good. Inv.: # 1-1375
