SOLD Pending Funds / Colt Model 1911 Semi Auto Pistol, manufactured in 1914, serial # 78997 (Springfield Frame), cal. 45 A.C.P., with a 5" Type 18 High Standard barrel stamped HS on the right lug, barrel with a very good plus plus bright bore. The pistol retains about 95%+ arsenal parkerized finish, pistol is stamped AA (Augusta Arsenal) forward of the slide stop. Pistol has Colt slide with "H" acceptance mark on slide. The majority of parts appear to be proper WWI period parts. The checkered Type 10 Keyes Fiber grips with screw rings the right with typical star and left without, comes with one blued magazine base stamped "COLT / 45 AUTO". The overall condition as described and photographed is good plus – very good plus. Inv.: # 1-1370
