Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is a beautiful all-original 1969 production Smith & Wesson Model 31-1 with a 4" inch barrel in .32 S&W Long complete with the original box and manuals.  This S&W has obviously spent the vast majority of it's life in storage, and shows very little evidence of having been fired since leaving the factory.  The original gloss-blue factory finish is beautiful on this revolver, rating 98%.  The only deductions we can find are a very faint drag line around the cylinder, a few tiny handling/storage marks, and a touch of marring around the sideplate screws.  The grip straps are perfect and show no wear.  The bore in the 4" inch barrel is minty and mirror-bright.  The rifling is still like-new with sharp lands and grooves, and there are no visible imperfections throughout the bore.  The 6 chambers in the cylinder are equally as clean and pristine.  The original checkered factory grips are in excellent condition and numbered to the gun.  Both sides are free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or visible wear, and they are perfectly fit and tight to the gun.  The action on this Model 31-1 is smooth, precise, and perfectly "in time".  At full lock there is no play in the cylinder whatsoever.  This Smith should function just as well today as the day it left the factory 50 plus years ago.  As mentioned before, this S&W comes complete with it's original serial numbered box, owner's manual, and warranty card.  The box is in good shape overall with solid corners and an intact factory end-label.  The owner's manual shows a little age and has a couple of small holes in it but is intact.  The original warranty card is in great shape and has never been filled out.  If you have been looking for an investment quality Model 31-1 for your collection this 1969 production example would be an excellent choice.  We do not run across these 6-shot .32 S&W caliber revolvers too often, much less with a 4" inch barrel in the original box.         SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Smith & Wesson Model: Model 31-1 Serial Number: H10371 Caliber Info: .32 S&W Long Bore: Minty Condition: Excellent Barrels: 4" Inches Manufacture Date: 1969 Extras: w/ Original Box, Manuals, Etc.
