Description:
Here's something you DON'T see everyday !! A fantastic Bar-in-Wood 16 gauge Hammergun pre -1874 This gun was restored by Heritage Guns in England and is in mint like condition. Bar-in-Woods were often the most expensive option and many consider them the most elegant of the Hammerguns . This gun has a really cool Grip Safety which will allow you to carry hammers cocked and the gun will not fire until a firm grip holds the bar against the tang....it is quite efficient. The barrels are SEAMLESSLY sleeved and TIG welded there are no lines visible. They are 30" in length chambered 2 3/4 and choked MOD left IC right. It also comes cased with a Brass and Leather period case with reproduction label (worth $1000 alone!!) I have a feeling this won't last long because so few ever come to market and IT'S A 16 GAUGE !!! This will turn heads and will be one of the coolest if not THE coolest gun at any Vintage Shoot ! Price is $7500 cased . Email christo502003yahoo or phone (406)728-9434
