Winchester Model 1894 Rifle fitted with a 26 inch round barrel, full length tube magazine, steel crescent butt-plate, semi-buckhorn adjustable rear sight (stamped "PAT.FEB,22,27"), walnut forearm and straight grip stock, and chambered in .30 W.C.F. (30-30). This 1929 vintage Model 1894 is in excellent original condition, with the barrel and tube magazine retaining 85% of their original blue finish and the frame about 40%, with most loss due to flaking. The fore-end cap and butt-plate have lost all of thier original blue finishes, having turned a silver/tan patina. The hammer retains 80% of its original blue finish and the lever about 40%. The stock retains 80% of its finish, with most loss around the grip, and the forearm about 40% of its finish. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, and the action is tight and functions perfectly.
