Description:
This German Army dagger is all original and untouched. This is a mid to late war production dagger that is unmarked, common for daggers made during this period. The blade and fittings are in great shape. The blade exhibits nice cross-grain from tip to hilt, it has never been polished or sharpened. The yellow cellulose grip is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. The silver plated fittings retain 90% or better of their original finish. This Heer Dagger comes complete with the original scabbard in excellent condition and a beautiful set of deluxe hangers. The deluxe hangers were an additional charge at the time of issue, and not too many German soldiers opted for the extra expense. This is a nice , honest, original piece that would look great on display by itself or with a WWII Luger.
