Description:
A very fine and sound English Double barrel 16 gauge shotgun with non-rebounbing locks. c 1860-1870. Interesting fences around bolsters. This gun has been cleaned up and was done with care which is unusual. Band Damascus barrels with light pitting in spots. Extractor is missing. The rib is engraved "Presented to Me. Train by H.Blandy" and also "Mast Brothers, 3? Wigmore Street, London & Liege. The barrels are Belguim proofed. The wood is clean with English checkering. 30 inch barrels.
