WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION .357 MAG. OCTAGON SHORT RIFLE. A.M. Hughie professional conversion original circa 1903 standard octagon rifle that was .25-20 WCF re-bored and chambered to the .357 Magnum cartridge. Barrel altered to 18” retaining the original Winchester Elevator rear sight. Copper bead front sight a replacement Otherwise factory original and in very good condition. Has most of the original blue on barrel and magazine tube and a dark patina and blue mix on frame Has nearly all the original finish on stock and forend. Perfect working order and mint bore. Really nice little rifle in a usable caliber.
