Description:
This .308 converted SMLE No.1 Mark 3 Enfield rifle has a 25-1/2" in the white tapered round barrel that is in good condition mounted with dovetailed front sight and an elevation adjustable rear. The bore is very good. The receiver is also in the white but is in good condition. The Select Hardwood stock has been cut at the forend and has a repair at the toe. There is also a 65 painted on the left side of the buttstock that is fitted with a sling swivel in the back and a metal buttplate with hinged compartment which is empty. Rifle comes with one 10 round magazine. Rifle was manufactured in 1966 by R.F.I. in India. The length of pull is 13-1/4", overall length is 44-1/4", and the weight is 8.4 lbs.
