Colt named this new security device the “Positive Lock”, and its nomenclature ended up being incorporated as a partial namesake for the new revolver. This example is a first issue, manufactured in 1919 with gutta-percha grips and an unusual 5-inch barrel chambered in .38 Colt, a.k.a. .38 S&W Long. Hand guns must travel via Air, whilst long guns and other items can go via Ground. Non-firearm accessories, such as magazines, can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at the customer's request.
