Description:
A near-mint & somewhat rare 1943-dated brown pebble grain soft shell holster for a Browning Hi Power. The leather is in excellent condition, soft & supple. All the stitching is intact. No evidence that a Hi Power has ever been in this holster.

The holster is marked with a very crips "jkh" ordnance code indicating manufacture by Karl Busse, Ausruestungsgegenstaende, Mainz, Germany.  The date "43" has a very crisp "4" but a faint "3" but it is still easy to make out. The Waffanenamt is very difficult to see but is just a barely visible "Eagle over WaA927" which is the corresponds to the "jkh" ordnance code.

I describe this as "near-mint" as there is a minor repair to the lower flap of the holster that could be period but is most likely post-war & is definitely professional. The repair is barely noticeable & would not be visible if this holster was on display with the flap closed or with a Hi Power in the holster.

This is a fairly uncommon holster style of holster at a great price & would pair very well with an excellent to mint condition 1943 or 1944-dated Hi Power.
