Description:
For your consideration is a mint, unissued P.38 soft shell holster. A classic example of a 1944 black soft shell pebble grain leather holster that was in abundance in the 1990s and early 2000s but has mostly disappeared into collections.
This holster is absolutely mint with the interior leather still "in the pink" & hardly a crease in the leather. A P.38 has never even been inserted into this holster & this is one of the best examples I have seen.
The leather is soft & supple with all stitching completely intact.
Nice crisp markings on the back. Ordnance code "cxb 4" indicating manufacture by Moll Lederwarenfabrik,
Goch, Rheinland, Germany in 1944.
This holster would pair very well with a minty 1944 or 1945 ac, byf, svw, or cyq P.38.
