Description:

Steyr 1957 Mannlicher Schönauer, Daimler-Puch AG,  Anton (still there in Austria, the shop) Shchwandner(weapon) Wilen (Vienna Austria), (i believe it to be a name of department store in Vienna, special ordered from germany, or perhaps bought there bought her, to be verified) written on the gun, 243 in perfect shape, with scope, scope is claw mount and comes off, you can see through the iron sites,  keeping the zero, and scope cover, Kahler Wien Hella 4 scope, double leaf open site, one leaf marked 300 meters, when i got the gun, the gun had grease on it, and unfortunately i fired one round at 100 yards, it shot 1.5 inch away from my target, the most accurate open site i have ever fired, it may only had a few rounds throught it.  it comes with custom scope bag, and custom gun cover, still looking for it, it is amazing workmanship.   It looks to be almost new from 1957, i dont believe it has eve been used outside, the scope look new and perfectly clear and it looks new, amazing, perhaps in this condition is worth more than what i am asking for but once i have got the history on the gun it probably will make more sense. If you like you can contact the shop in Austria and perhaps they have the record and can tell you more about it.

thanks for looking ....On hold for Dwight from virginia, my old hunting ground.
