The R&R 60 Year Old Gun Collection is now for sale. Here is a Special Order Winchester l903 Deluxe with xxx wood, plus Peep sight and the Take-down feature. It is an immaculate, little rifle which retains most all of its original blue & Varnish. It left the Factory in 1914 at the very beginning of WWI. This was Winchesters first venture into Semi-auto rifles and it was designed by Winchesters top designer, Tommy Johnston who suceeded John Browing. Three more Semi-autos the l905 in .32 & .35 calibers, The l907 in .351 caliber and the 1910 in the heavy .401 caliber followed. The R&R collection was fortunate enough to acquire Mint Deluxe of each model and they are up for sale. Not too many of these Early Winchester Semi-autos are still around and this one is about as nice as your going to find.
