Description:
This U.S.N. boarding cutless is well marked 1864, only 2,000 were made that year. The scabbard , has the  the rare star rivet ,officers model? The Ames scroll and and maker and dated are clear. The inspectors mark DR  is on the blade with an ankor, and is also on the pommel cap. The leather washer is retained on the blade, this sword is as found condition. The scabbard has a some wear on the frog in one spot, the scabbbard sheath is in above good condition with some srinkage.859-533-5445, No nicks on the blade.
