Description:
This is a NEW model 70 Stainless Sporter III, chambered in 243 Winchester.
It has a 22" Sporter contour, stainless barrel, on a stainless action. It is Controlled Round Feed, with a non-glare matte stainless claw. This is a Sporter III stock. It has a Decellerator recoil pad, which is an excellent recoil pad. It also has a 1 piece trigger guard/floor plate, & hex head bottom metal screws, from the factory.
This rifle was originally on a camoflouge Ultimate Shadow stock. But the paint on it never set up properly. It was sticky, to the touch. We sent it back to Browning, for repair. They mounted it in this Sporter III stock, & sent it back to us. As you can see; this is a first class stock.
The barrel has been cleaned, & bore scoped. It is spotlessly clean, & looks good. No rust, no pitting. The throat, & the lead-in, on the lands; are pretty smooth, no glaring tool marks.
