Description:
This is a super nice, all original pre-WWI Luger pistol, made by DWM for Imperial German Army. It is in excellent original condition, all matching, including the grips and the firing pin(except the correct mismatched magazine), and retains about 95% of its original blue with holster wear on the high edges and some patination on the grip straps. No pitting. Super nice grips with no cracks or pieces missing. The bore has strong rifling, but has frosting and darkening in the grooves. The gun has a very rarely seen cavalry unit marking to the Hussaren regiment. The gun comes with an original maker marked holster, dated 1911, in very good condition with some cracking to the leather on the closure strap and all intact stitching. An honest, early “bring back” pre-WWI Hussar rig.
