Description:
This .22 High Power Savage Model 99 rifle has a 24” blued tapered round barrel with a good bore. The front sight is a fixed post with a gold blade; the rear sight is elevation adjustable. The action is smooth and locks up tight and finish is intact but is showing patina. The Walnut forend and buttstock have some dents and scratches and a hairline cracks located at the nose of the forend, back of receiver, and both the toe and top of the buttstock. Some cracks have been poorly repaired. There’s an after-market metal buttplate added that is heavily pitted. The rifle also has an added screw on the left side of the receiver that is NOT factory standard. Length of pull is 12-1/2”, overall length is 40”, and weight is 6.4 lbs. Our stock number is #A954. Will ship to any FFL in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
